Samsung Begins Mobile Phone Exports from India Plant

Samsung announced on March 27 that it has started exporting mobile phones produced at its plant in Haryana, India. The first export shipment went to Dubai, and Samsung stated that the Middle East will be one of its focus regions for mobile phone exports from its plant in India.

 

As reported in Asia Express on February 21, Samsung's plant in India recently started production, and has an initial annual production capacity of one million units.
